Marshall Clyde Lyons born June 27, 2018, gained his wings on October 8, 2021. Marshall was born with Dextrocardia and transposition of the great arteries, a congenital heart defect. He defied odds from birth. Marshall’s first surgery was one that had only been attempted nine times. He was the first child to have the surgery and need a pacemaker and defibrillator. He had two other heart surgeries and several other surgeries to address many other medical conditions. Marshall is truly one in a million. He brought a smile to the face of everyone he met. He serenaded us with his guitar and danced his way into the hearts of many. Marshall will be a part of medical history and help many other children born with CHD.
Marshall lives on in the hearts of dad and mom, Dustin Lyons and Savannah Kilpatrick. Big brother Daniel. Grandparents; Trey and Lucretia Lyons, Jeff and Kim Kilpatrick. Great Grandparents; Calvin and Linda Lyons, Louis Marshall, Linda Martin, Claude and Linda Penney and Sandra Stayton. Along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Marshall’s smile, rainboots, dances and strength will live on in our hearts forever.
We Are #Marshall Strong.
