Martin Hernandez Gutierrez

Martin Hernandez Gutierrez, 34, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021, in Mexico. A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Hillsboro with Father Ouseph Thekkumthala as celebrant. Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery.

Martin was born March 11, 1987, in Dolores-Hidalgo, Mexico, to  Martin and Maria Del Rufugio Hernandez. Martin grew up in Hillsboro and attended school at Hillsboro ISD. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Martin was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Hernandez.

Survivors include his dad, Martin Hernandez; daughter, Briana G. Hernandez; sisters, Mayra Hernandez, Martha Hernandez and husband, Pedro Rangel; grandfather, Miguel Gutierrez; nieces, Jade Johnson and Jennifer Rangel; nephew, Juan Rangel.
