Melvina H (Honeycutt) Myers

Melvina H. Myers, age 67 of Clifton went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, November 10, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors chapel in Whitney with Chaplain Craig Klempnaucer. A burial will follow at Prairie Grove Cemetery (Greenie). A visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 am, Saturday, November 18, 2023, prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

Melvina was born April 11, 1956, in Hillsboro, Texas to Homer and Ollie (Cook) Honeycutt. She was born and raised in Hillsboro where she met the love of her life, her husband, Tommy Myers. They were married on January 11, 1980, and he passed away December 6, 2019. She and her husband moved to Whitney in 1988 were they shared their lives together.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Jimmy Josey, Edward Josey, and Homer Honeycutt; and her son, Henry Myers.

Melvina is survived by her children, Daniel Newell and wife Emily and James Newell; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
