Michael Koonsman Obituary

Michael Stewart Koonsman, 54, of Whitney, passed away on May 11, 2020. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Michael was born on December 19, 1965, in Waco, Texas, to James and Glenda (Callaway) Koonsman. He grew up in Waco, graduating from Jefferson Moore High School. Michael worked for K-Mart, Coors Distributing and Coca Cola, and enjoyed mowing yards in his spare time. His hobby was basically work, but he also found time to enjoy riding horses.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Tracy Anderson; brothers, Tommy Koonsman and Richard Koonsman; and niece Jessica Hope Koonsman.

Survivors include his brothers, Jamie Koonsman of Blum and Tim Callaway of Germany; and nieces and nephews, Jordyn Koonsman, Conner Callaway, Katherine Callaway, Jameson Callaway and Jillian Callaway.
