Mildred Claudine Thompson

Mildred Claudine Thompson of Blum, Texas, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021.  She was born May 28, 1941, to Mildred Lecil (M.L.) and Etta Mae Lewis in Corsicana, Texas.  Mildred was united in marriage on September 22, 1959, to Elvis Royal Thompson in Blum, Texas,  Graveside services will take place at 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Blum Cemetery.  Mildred will lie in state from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors, Hillsboro, Texas.

Mildred will be remembered for her love for the church and the Lord.  She was an active member in the First United Pentecostal Church of Hillsboro.  Mildred was also known for her wonderful meals she prepared and her quilting. 

She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Parthine Coslett.  Those left to cherish her memory are her husband; her children, Davy Thompson and wife Kim Thompson, Lucresha Dubois and husband Ray Dubois, Katrina Thompson and husband Kenny Smith; siblings, Reba Bryans, Joe Don Lewis, Wanda Elliot and husband Spencer Elliot, David Lewis and wife Doris Lewis, and Linda Faye Stepp; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
