Nancy (O'Neal) Arellano, age 66 passed away October 4, 2023, In Temple, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Monday, October 9, 2023, at Itasca Cemetery in Itasca with Levin Ainsworth and Harrell Wilson officiating. A visitation will be held at 1:30pm at the cemetery prior to the service..

Nancy was born on December 22, 1956, in Howard County, Texas to Alvin and Laverne (Pelham) O’Neal. As a child she lived in many different places. They finally settled in Itasca, Texas and that is where she met Jimmy Arellano, and they were united in marriage. Soon after they had a son, Tommy James Arellano. Nancy worked for Rubbermaid factory for many years, and she also worked at the Hill County Sheriff's office as a jailer, where she retired. Nancy was a strong woman who always stood her ground. She will be remembered for her unwavering strength and the impact she had on those around her. Nancy also had a special love for dogs that was undeniable, she cherished their companionship and found joy in their wagging tails and unconditional love.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Laverne O'Neal; her husband, Jimmy Arellano; and her brother, David O'Neal; her grandmother, Wilima Pelham; granddaddy, Ed Pelham; stepfather, Bud McKeehan.

Nancy is survived by her son, Tommy and his wife Yvonne Arellano; her grandchildren, Mekaela Arellano and her significant other Joshua Gillilan, Dalton and wife Keri Arellano, and Nathaniel Arellano; her brother, Benny and wife Isabelle O'Neal; uncle, Harrell Wilson; aunt, Vivian Pelham; and many Arellano family members, cousins, and friends.
