Pamela Renee' Jenkins

Pamela Renee’ Jenkins, 45, of Mertens passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021, at her residence.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Chaplain Chuck Smith officiating.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday.

She was born September 3, 1976, in Waxahachie, Texas.  Pamela Renee’ Jenkins was a beautiful woman, inside and out.  She loved spending time with her family and weekends with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed days out on the water and nights in watching horror movies and British comedies.  Pamela was a strong woman who cared deeply about those who loved her and would help them out any way she could.  She also enjoyed collecting crystals, dancing with her brother, Rusty, to Freddy Fender, and talking mess with her friends.  There are not enough words to describe how amazing this woman truly was.  She made a lasting imprint on everyone who met her.

Preceding her in death were her dad, Phillip Jenkins; grandfather, Edward Jenkins; and grandmother, Geneva Starr.

Survivors include her partner, Matthew Smith; daughters, Jessica Taylor, Victoria Manriquez and son-in-law, E. Rodriquez, and Peyton Borders; son and daughter-in-law, Gary Nathaniel Jenkins and Reagan Tune; brothers, Russell Overdirth and Blake Jenkins; mother and stepdad, Donna and Bruce Tice; grandmother, Geraldine Jenkins; grandchildren, Miranda and Damien Taylor, Sam and Lukas Jenkins, and Jesiah Rodriquez; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
