Patricia Gale (Rogers) Henson

Patricia Gale Henson, age 71 of Hillsboro passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 in Waco. A funeral service will be held at Noon Thursday, May 20, 2021, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Clay Strawn officiating. Burial will follow at Bell Springs Cemetery in near Bynum. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the funeral home.

Patricia was born May 29, 1949 in Dallas, Texas to Herbert and Mildred (Strawn) Rogers. She grew up in Oak Cliff. Patricia was united in marriage to Andrew J Henson on December 19, 1965. She worked as a technician for Kodak for 30 years and retired in 2009. Patricia loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally and enjoyed spoiling them all the time. She loved to fish and was an avid cross word puzzle enthusiast, a master at Trivia Pursuit and queen of scrabble. Patricia will be truly missed; she was loving, funny, and a force to be reckoned with.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Troy Sanders; and son-in-law, Mike Biko.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Andrew Henson; children, Teresa Biko, Charles Henson and wife Terri, and Jennifer Henson; brothers, Jerry Rogers and wife Fredda and Herbert Rogers; sister, Sharon Smart; 7 grandchildren, Seth Cazares and wife Kasie, Lauren Freeman and husband Jon, Emily Merryman and husband Thomas, Tyson Henson, Lilli Henson, Camren Henson, and Olivia Henson; 4 great-grandchildren, Tiberias, Ryder, Cameron, Dallas and a host of nieces and nephews.
