Patsy Ruth (Mayfield) Arthur

Patsy Ruth (Mayfield) Arthur of Whitney, passed away on September 6, 2019, at the age of 84.    A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Whitney Memorial Park, 510 S. Bosque St.,  in Whitney, Texas.

Patsy was born on April 15, 1935, to Theodore Wilkerson and Marvin Pearl (Cavitt) Mayfield in Duffau, Texas.  She married Paul Arthur on March 27, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas 

Preceding her in death was her husband, Paul; a grandson, Blake Stroup; her parents; a sister Ruby Wilmoth; and brother J.C., Cleatus and Troy Mayfield.

She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Arthur of Lake Whitney; Teresa Stroup and husband, David of Plano, Paula Benfer of Lake Whitney; and Trish McBean of Dodd City; granddaughter Paige McBean of Dodd City; grandsons, Ross and Luke McBean of Dodd City and Clark Stroup of Plano; a brother, Ronald Mayfield and wife Charlotte of Stephenville; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
