Raymond Lindsay May

Raymond Lindsey May, age 57 of Hillsboro passed away January 20, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, January 27, 2023, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors, Hillsboro.  Visitation will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Marshall and Marshall.

He was born March 12, 1965, in Dallas, Texas, to Charles Richard May and Glenda Dale May. Raymond grew up and attended schools in Hillsboro. He then married Katherine Cadena and had two children Cassandra May-Brown and Suzanne May. The couple later divorced but remained best friends. Raymond was a member of the Hillsboro Volunteer Fire Department during the early nineties and later stopped to focus on family and a full-time career as a semi-truck driver. He was coined as the family handyman and could be found assisting with various fixes and builds.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Richard May, his mother, Glenda Dale May, and a nephew Phillip Stenson.

Survivors include his daughters, Suzanne May, Cassandra May-Brown and husband Michael Brown; one granddaughter, Brianna Brown; two sisters Linda Nowlin and Cindy McDaniel and husband Gary McDaniel; two brothers, Richard May and wife Kylie, and Brian May; and numerous other relatives and friends.
