Robert Ivy Daniel

Robert Ivy Daniel, 88, of Hillsboro, Texas, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Wesley House in Hillsboro, Texas.  A graveside service will take place at 1:00 pm, Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Bell Springs Cemetery.  Visitation will by from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro, Texas. 

Robert was born September 9, 1933, to W.P. and Mattie (Horn) Daniel, in Malone, Texas.  He was raised in Malone and graduated from Bynum High School.  Robert served his country in the United States Army and spent the remainder of his career as a truck driver.  He worked for HWI and Sherwin Williams, earning over a million miles before his retirement.  Robert married Betty Marlene Brown Daniel on April 6, 1990.  He enjoyed visiting with his family and friends, eating tasty food, and watching westerns and sports.  Robert was a member of the Woodbury Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; son, Dwan Daniel; brother, Joe Daniel; and two great grandchildren, Alexis, and Armoni Daniel.  He is survived by his children, Robert Dale Daniel and his wife, Karen, Gaylyn Halbert and her husband, Jackie, and Dennis Brown; five grandchildren, Amanda Daniel, Crystal Daniel and her husband, Shawn Williams, Joshua Daniel and his wife Megan, Stephanie Parnell and her husband, Paul, and Ashley Blair; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
