Ronnie Cantrell

Ronnie Cantrell, age 43, of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021. A funeral will be held 1:00 p. m. Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Cedar Creek Baptist Church near Whitney. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Garden of Memory. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. Monday, October 18, 2021 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors, 2495 Corsicana Hwy. in Hillsboro. 

Ronnie was born on September 12, 1978 in Okeene, Oklahoma. He graduated from Okeene High School, started junior college then served in the United States Army. After his honorable discharge from the Army, he started his career in the power line business, which he enjoyed until his passing. He enjoyed golfing, camping and throughout his career he mentored a lot of people. Ronnie married Michelle on November 17, 2005.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle of Hillsboro; stepchildren, Jessica Gaddy and Josh Fischer and grandson, Joshua Gaddy; his father, Ron Cantrell of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his mother and stepfather, Teresa and David Kuehn of Whitney, Texas; his brother and wife, Clint and Christina Cantrell of Fort Worth, Texas; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and many friends.
