Shirley Ann (Shultz) Morgan

Shirley Ann Morgan, age 78, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, October 28,2020, at Wesley House in Hillsboro. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2020, at Peoria Cemetery in Peoria, Texas. A visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro. 

Shirley Ann Morgan was born August 2,1942 in Dallas, Texas. Shirley married Robert Reeves Morgan III of Dallas in 1965 and they moved to Hillsboro. Shirley was a stay at home mom for a few years and later worked with Robert at Hillsboro Monument Works. She later worked on and off with Robert at his cemetery lettering business. Shirley loved God and was a Christian. She passed that love and faith on to her children.

Shirley loved traveling with Robert in their motor home. They would stay in RV parks, sight see, go Jeeping and meet new friends. Their best friends, Jim and Lois Landrum would often accompany them on their adventures. Shirley’s beloved sister in law Roberta Morgan would also sometimes join them. Shirley had a real love and passion for animals and her family. She was always crazy about cats and dogs, but cats were her absolute favorite. At one point there was even a pet racoon named Snoopy! Shirley worked part time later in life at Young Animal Hospital where she was able to be around all kinds of animals.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Morgan and her parents Al and Peggy Shultz.

Shirley is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several family members.
