Sue "Scottie" "Mama Sue" Patterson passed into the hands of her Lord and Savior on May 26th, 2022.  Scottie was born to Grady and Sibyl Scott on March 21st, 1950 in Lampasas, Texas. She was raised on a farming ranch in Adamsville, Texas. She graduated from Lampasas High School in 1967. Gene and Scottie were married April 21st, 1990 and were happily married for 32 years. Scottie worked for TXU / Oncor for 36 years and retired in 2008 where she and Gene became full timers to their beloved lake view at Lake Whitney.

Sue "Scottie" Patterson is survived by her husband Gene Patterson and her sons Brad Patterson, Thomas Duesman and wife Vickie Duesman, her grandson Kenneth Duesman, her sister Wanda Hartman and husband John Hartman, also her brother-in-law Ray Chandler and many loved nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Jennifer Patterson, her parents Grady and Sibyl Scott, sisters Clara Ruth Chandler and Paula White, and her brother-in-law Carl White.

A celebration of Scottie's life and legacy will be held on Saturday, June 4th at 2pm at First Baptist Church in Meridian, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Providence Whitney Hospice. A special thank you to all of the nurses and staff at Providence Hospice.
