Teresia Jean (Moore) Wallace

Teresia Jean Wallace, age 63, of Whitney passed away Sunday, March 22, 2020 at her residence. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Stoney Point Cemetery near Melissa, Texas, with Rev. Jay Morris officiating. She will lie-in-state on Friday, March 27, 2020, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney from 9am to 9pm.

Teresia was born November 10, 1956 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Thomas Junior Moore and Wanda Lee Moore Thomas (Sims). She graduated from Garland High School. She was united in marriage on November 18, 1977, to Michael Dewayne Wallace, Sr. She enjoyed sewing and was an animal lover at heart. When she was able too, she loved to go swimming and enjoyed reading.

Preceding her in death were her 2 brothers, Thomas Jeral Moore and Phillip Moore; grandmother, Roxie Myrtle Sims; grandfather, Clifford Sims; stepfather, Kenneth “Jack” Thomas.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Wallace, Sr.; father, T.J. Moore and wife, Dorothy; mother, Wanda Thomas; children, Tiffany Henry and husband, Thomas, Michael Wallace, Jr. and wife, Brandy, and Matthew Wallace and wife, Elisabeth; brothers, Mark Moore and Wife, Liz and Timothy Moore and wife, Susie; sister, Brenda Williams; and 12 grandchildren.
