Therisa Jane Olson

Therisa Jane Olson, 66, of Whitney passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 at her residence. A graveside service under the direction of Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the China Spring Cemetery, Gary Hadley will officiate.

Therisa was born in Water Valley, Mississippi, on July 7, 1954 to Odis H and Zola Bell (Mixon) Campbell. She spent most of her life in Mississippi. She worked for several years on a dairy farm in China Spring. Therisa was married to Billy Olson Sr. on November 4, 1970 in Water Valley Mississippi, he preceded her in death on November 6, 2016. She was owner and operator along with her husband Billy of Olson’s One Stop in Itasca for 15, years. She enjoyed fishing, bowling and going to the Winstar Casino in Oklahoma.

Also, preceding her in death were her parents, and her son Johnny Joe Olson on August 24, 1986.

Survivors include her children, Bobby Olson and wife, Tammy and Billy Olson Jr. and fiancé Monica Najar; grandchildren, MacKenzie Olson, Justin Olson, Lane Olson, Niccona Olson, Kaiydance Olson and Colby Olson; great-grandchildren, Jase Olson, Catalina Olson, Natalia Olson and Xavier Diaz.
