Tommy Clevinger

Tommy Clevinger, 75, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022, in Waco, Texas.  

Tommy was born in Grundy, Virginia to Basil and Francis Clevinger. He was a veteran in the US Army during the Vietnam war. In his fifties, he met Diana James. They fell in love while working together at Abbott Labs and married in 2004. Upon retirement, they moved to Whitney, Texas.

In addition to his partner Diana, Tommy is survived by his children: Michael Clevinger, Robert and Amy Clevinger, Catherine and Donald Whipkey; his stepchildren: Bennie and Kelee James, Mickie and Jeremy Morton and Marvin James Jr.; his grandchildren: Caitlin Clevinger, Kamryn Clevinger, Michael Clevinger, Brittany Clevinger, Hayli James, Zane Morton, Logan Morgan, and Kayli Morgan; and his great grandchildren: Abiageal Clevinger, Riley Clevinger, Madisyn Clevinger, Hunter Clevinger, Cayden Lorenz, Brayden Rodriguez, Emma Rodriguez, and Pamela Whipkey. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Basil and Francis Clevinger.

The graveside service will be held at Whitney Memorial Park on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 11:00am.
