Tori Michele Parker

Tori Michele Parker, 27, of Richardson, passed away on June 1, 2020, at a Richardson hospital.   The family will hold a celebration of life for Tori to be announced at a later date.

Tori was born on October 14, 1992, in Clifton, Texas, to Bill and Terrie (Walker) Parker.   She went to Whitney High School, but graduated from high school in Nemo, Texas and then attended TCC in Fort Worth.  She loved cheerleading and was an All-American Cheerleader at Whitney High School. 

Tori was a tumbling and gymnastics instructor for girls.    In addition to gymnastics she also loved basketball, volleyball, track and soccer.  Other pastimes included hunting and fishing as well as Go-Kart racing and riding motorcycles.

Tori is survived by her mother, Terri Parker and her father, Bill Parker of Whitney; her fiancé, Shane Hendrixson of Rockford, Illinois; her brother, Christian McKnight; sisters, Harmony McKnight, Riley McKnight and Jordan McKnight all from Whitney.

Other survivors include her grandmothers, Faye Walker of Whitney and Naomi Ruth Collins of Jonesboro, Arkansas; three uncles, Gene Collins of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Drew Collins of Waco, and Ricky Walker of Bardwell, Texas; a great-uncle James Spries of Redoak, Texas; six aunts, Cindy Andrews, Lindy Thomas and Pat McWhorter, all of Whitney, Shelia Marie Parker of Watsonville, California, Marie Parker of Gonzales, California, and Virginia Heath of Bryan-College Station, Texas.
